General Booking and Sales Terms and Conditions
1. Purpose
These general booking and sales terms and conditions are intended to define the rights and obligations of the parties in connection with bookings for stays at Castel Émeraude, operated by:

Any booking made on the website www.castelemeraude.fr implies full and unconditional acceptance of these general terms and conditions.
2. Booking
Bookings may be made online via the establishment’s website.
The booking becomes effective once the customer has completed the different booking steps and once payment or any bank guarantee required at the time of the order has been accepted.
The customer agrees to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information when making a booking. The establishment cannot be held liable for any consequences resulting from an error made by the customer when entering information.
3. Prices
The prices shown on the website are indicated in euros, all taxes included, excluding tourist tax unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
The tourist tax is set at €1.16 per person per day.
The rates applicable are those displayed at the time of booking. The establishment reserves the right to modify its rates at any time, it being understood that only the price confirmed at the time of booking shall apply to the reserved stay.
Any optional extras selected by the customer at the time of booking or during the stay shall be added to the main price.
4. Payment terms
Payment for bookings made online may be made using the methods offered on the booking module, including:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
- PayPal
The customer guarantees that they are fully authorised to use the chosen payment method and that they have the necessary authorisations and funds to pay for their booking.
5. Check-in and check-out
The accommodation is made available to the customer from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival.
The customer agrees to vacate the accommodation no later than 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure.
Any request for early check-in or late check-out must be approved in advance by the establishment and may result in additional charges.
6. Pets
Pets are allowed under the following pricing conditions:
- €7.00 per day
- or €49.00 for 21 nights
The customer remains fully responsible for their pet throughout the stay. Any damage, disturbance, nuisance or deterioration caused by the pet may be charged to the customer.
7. Modification, cancellation and no-show
Any request for modification or cancellation must be made through the booking channel used, in particular via the website when this feature is available.
An online cancellation form is available to customers on the website.
The specific conditions relating to cancellation, modification, any possible refund or no-show are those displayed at the time of booking on the online booking module.
In the event of any contradiction between these general terms and conditions and the specific conditions displayed during the booking process, the specific conditions displayed at the time of the order shall prevail.
In the event of a no-show by the customer, the establishment shall apply the conditions provided for at the time of booking.
8. No right of withdrawal
In accordance with the French Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal applicable to certain distance contracts does not apply to accommodation services provided on a specific date or during a specific period.
Consequently, any stay booking made on the website cannot be subject to a right of withdrawal, without prejudice to any cancellation conditions that may apply at the time of booking.
9. Customer obligations during the stay
The customer must use the premises peacefully, respect the facilities made available and preserve the peace and quiet of the other occupants.
The customer is responsible for any damage caused by themselves, persons accompanying them or pets admitted with their consent.
The establishment reserves the right to immediately terminate the stay of any customer whose behaviour is contrary to the proper operation of the establishment, safety, public order or the peace and quiet of the premises, without any refund being claimed.
10. Liability
The photographs, visuals, descriptions and information displayed on the website are presented with the utmost care. They are provided for information purposes only and may not be interpreted as an absolute contractual commitment regarding minor presentation details.
The establishment cannot be held liable for any non-performance or improper performance of the booking in the event of force majeure, due to the customer, a third party unrelated to the service, or any event beyond its control.
11. Personal data
Personal data collected in connection with bookings or contact requests are processed by AMELIE INVEST HOTEL in compliance with the applicable regulations.
These data are used for booking management, customer requests, administrative follow-up and, where applicable, to comply with legal obligations.
Any person has the right to access, rectify, object to, erase and, in cases provided for by the applicable regulations, the right to data portability.

12. Complaints – Consumer mediation
After first contacting the establishment’s complaints department and failing a satisfactory response within 60 days, the customer may refer the matter to the Médiateur du Tourisme et du Voyage, whose contact details and referral procedures are available on the following website:

13. Applicable law – Disputes
These general terms and conditions are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, and after an attempt at amicable resolution, the competent courts shall be determined in accordance with the applicable ordinary rules of law.
